The name @1A_Lutheran begins with the First Article of the creeds: God the Father is the Creator of all things, visible and invisible. That confession frames how I approach the natural world, human making, and the words by which we try to understand both.

I am an EE by education, a software engineer by trade, and a homesteader by practice. My interests meet where Creation, language, and technology meet: in old texts and living words, in embedded systems and AI, and in the questions that become clearer while walking green pasture.

This is a hub for that mix. I write about ideas and words within Creation and Christendom, drawing especially on the languages and history of Late Antiquity, the Lutheran Reformation and Confessions, and nineteenth-century American Lutheranism. I also follow technology as an engineer—looking for root causes, testing claims against evidence, and attending to both what a tool can do and what it cannot.
