Scraping Lutheran Ideas
Scraping Lutheran Ideas and Information
A monthly survey of Lutheran news, theology, and scholarship — both confessional/Reformation and ecumenical/Enlightenment streams. Each report curates novel or substantive items from a curated bibliography of Lutheran sources, with a thumb on the scale for science, creation, and Reformation-vs-Enlightenment topics.
The mechanical fetch and dedup runs from a small Python pipeline against a SQLite store; the curation (read each candidate, decide what is worth keeping, write a summary) is done by hand. Reports are versioned monthly and never edited after publishing — corrections become a new run.
